Description

The wine is 50% cabernet sauvignon/50% merlot from the sustainably farmed neyers estate property at the base of howell mnt. The vines were planted by david abreu wild yeast fermented and aged in 100% french oak (40% new). The wine has purple-red color with well formed legs. It is dry medium plus bodied with balanced acidity and medium-plus phenolics with a long finish. Lovely wine with a pessac feel flavors of dusty earth and oak flow into red and darker fruit with accents of tobacco. Bear score:92
